Benidorm is one of the largest tourist centres of the Costa Blanca. The golden sand beaches, the crystal waters and lovely climate combine with a great infrastructure of high-quality services, where everything
is geared to entertainment. 4 million people that visit Benidorm each year looking for Benidorm impressive high-rise skyline and its endless restaurants, shops, pubs and bars.
What to do: the beaches
are one of Benidorm's greatest attractions, so you can discover a five-kilometre coastline where you can enjoy a swim and water sports (windsurfing, scuba diving, sailing...). Levante beach, thanks to its two
kilometres of fine sands, is an urban beach, probably the most beautiful in the city. The beach is bordered by a busy promenade filled with bars and restaurants, specially at night. The other important Benidorm beach,
the Poniente beach, is also well equipped and offers all tourist facilities.
Benidorm's historic city centre is located between Levante and Poniente beaches. There you can visit the church of San Jaime (18th
century). We also recommend a visit to El Balcón del Mediterráneo, a splendid viewpoint. And you can have a boat excursion to the little island of Benidorm, departing from the harbour.
Concerning gastronomy,
seafood and rice dishes, specially Paella, are the basis of local gastronomy. Paella is the emblematic dish. Olive oil, garlic and ali oli sauce are other important ingredients.
